JAM presents a cast of 70 local children, who have worked all year with a passionate. talented and experienced team to bring you outstanding performances showcasing vocals, dance and comedic acting! “Aladdin Jr” will transport audiences back centuries. to the fictional city of Agrabah, where we meet Aladdin and Jasmine, the Genie, a magic carpet, even a crazy camel … and would you believe 99 white Persian monkeys??? It’s a colourful, mystical place … and everybody SINGS!

You might know there is a new Disney movie of ALADDIN coming to Nowra! We know it starts in a few days’ time BUT… we’re asking you to hold off from going and seeing it until JUNE 16TH 4PM!!!!!!!

The more tickets for “Aladdin the movie” we sell, the more funds can be ploughed into preparations for our own live performances! So spread the love around, get your mates on board, and introduce them to “a whole new world”! You can’t buy tickets at the theatre for this screening.

WOW! We were overwhelmed with the interest in JAM at the info night last night. We are currently creating a “list” and a “waiting list” and everyone who gave us details should have received an email today. CHECK YOUR IN BOX PLEASE!
The enrolment form is currently disabled, but we’ll let you know if and when we can take more names as we confirm the commitment of those offered places on the list.
JAM PERFORMANCE THIS YEAR WILL BE ON THE OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND (MIDDLE WEEK END OF SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)
If necessary, we may have to limit the number of enrolments in the JAM program. If this happens we will have to work with the kids who enrolled earliest.
At: School of Arts Nowra, February 13th 5-6 pm.
Aladdin Jr is the major JAM production for the year.
The performances will be on the big stage in the Auditorium at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on the October long weekend.
JAM REHEARSALS are held each Wednesday from 4:00-6:15 pm at the Nowra School of Arts or ‘the shed’ at Bomaderry. There will also be Sunday rehearsals as we get closer to performance dates.
Rehearsal schedules are published in advance. Additional rehearsals may be called closer to performances.
